DESCRIPTION:Our connection to the natural world is a deep and inherent bond
  that transcends time and space. It is a relationship that has shaped our 
 existence for millennia. Do you want to learn more about your connection t
 o the natural world? Join us in a book club to explore the spiritual conne
 ction in nature beyond religion as we read all types of books to help you 
 explore your spirituality in a non-traditional way. All discussions are in

 t of Crows: A Backyard Year by Margaret Renkl ©2023\nThis book is a liter
 ary devotional: fifty-two chapters that follow the creatures and plants in
  the author’s backyard over the course of a year. As we move through the
  seasons—from a crow spied on New Year’s Day\, to the lingering bluebi
 rds of December—what develops is a portrait of joy and grief: joy in the
  ongoing pleasures of the natural world\, and grief over winters that end 
 too soon and songbirds that grow fewer and fewer. Birdsong and night-bloom
 ing flowers evoke generations past. The city and the country where Renkl r
 aised her family transform a little more with each passing day. And the na
