Mental health issues are rising at an alarming rate due to the coronavirus and the many issues it has triggered. Because of these events, the U.S. is facing a mental health crisis. Mental health advocacy is needed now more than ever to help patients and providers get the resources necessary to deal with these mental health concerns.
Sally Terrell is an ordained minister in the ELCA. While she no longer practices Christianity, she is a respectful lover of the teachings of Jesus. She and her husband Brad have eight children, eleven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter – who they adore. She is a speaker for NAMI (National Association for Mental Illness) sharing her personal journey with mental illness with many groups.
