We believe in learning from many sources—other faith traditions, science, nature, and personal experience—and in supporting each other as we grow and make a difference in the world.

Most new members were drawn from the ranks of pagan women. There are many reasons why women were drawn to this new and very different faith. What was it about Christian beliefs that awoke in many women, especially among the poor and disadvantaged, the curiosity to seek out and become members of what could only be described as an unpopular cult in Roman society? Was it this awakened curiosity that led to the spread of Christianity across this ancient empire?
