Instead of our usual service, join us at the fellowship for a walk along the East River and Baird Creek Trails led by our resident outdoors enthusiast and nature buff Steve Krings. We’ll gather at 10:00 and be back at the fellowship around 11:00 NOT A REGULAR SERVICE: IN-PERSON ONLY

May 24, 2026 at 10:00 am • Benjamin Cruz-Uribe In the first centuries of the Christian religion, women constituted over three quarters of the membership. Most new members were drawn from the ranks of pagan women. There are many reasons why women were drawn to this new and very different faith. What was it about Christian beliefs that awoke in many women, especially among the poor and disadvantaged, the curiosity to seek out and become members of what could only be described as an unpopular cult in Roman society? Was it this awakened curiosity that led to the spread of Christianity across this ancient empire?
