Making Friends with Fear and Anger and the ZBCs of Practice (Zoom only from Open Circle)

Note: The Green Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Fellowship building will be closed on Sunday, September 3rd, for the Labor Day holiday. You are invited to Zoom into the service being held at the Open Circle Fellowship in Fond du Lac.

Join Taizan Alford for some practical tips on dealing with difficult feelings and tending to your contemplative practice on and off the cushion.

Tai Alford has been a meditator and yoga practitioner and teacher since the 1980s, and was ordained as a Buddhist priest in the Soto Zen tradition in September of 2016. Tai seeks to alleviate suffering in as many ways as possible in the world, and is grateful to share the ever unfolding practice of meditation, hoping that some practical tips can make sitting meditation more accessible. He lives in Appleton with his husband Tom and enjoys songwriting and performing in his spare time.
