Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation in 1914, designating the 2nd Sunday in May as a national holiday to honor mothers in the U.S. We all honor our mothers in our own way, and as there are as many of us, there are as many memories and feelings. They gave us life. Some gave their lives. Some gave us away. Some stayed their whole lives with us. Some left. Please join me this coming Mother’s Day to honor ALL mothers.
