We affirm that eveyone should be able to realize their fullest potential, but sometimes it takes a lot of courage to do so. October is designated as “Coming Out Month” – a time when those in the queer community are encouraged to proudly and publically claim their authentic selves. Let us lift up the courage this act requires for both those who come out and those who embrace them.

This Sunday we will also have those who recently “signed the book” come before the congregation and share in a membership recognition.
