It’s Hard to Offer You Love and Compassion When I Want to Punch You in the Face

A provocative title, I know, but certainly a feeling we may be experiencing during these troubling times.  As Unitarian Universalists we are called to believe in the inherent worth and dignity of all people. And yet many of us may have friends and family, let alone strangers, who we struggle to understand their politics and ideologies.

Join us as we explore ways to lean into to the framework of our principles to find and renew ways in which we can welcome the other with dignity and respect.

RE FOCUS:
We renew faith in each other by joining forces for the common good. Our faith teaches us that, together, we have the ability to change the world. It is comforting to remember that we don’t have to go it alone. But looking to those beside us and those who have gone before us, we gain confidence that “yes, we can!”
